Planet Namek
Planet Namek is a nice and peaceful planet as the home of the Nameks. Namek is covered in green and blue grass with trees, hills, and many seas and rivers. Planet Namek wasnt always this way though. As Dende(Namek) mentioned in the Frieza Saga, the planet used to be covered with fresh pink flowers until a horrible, massive storm struck the planet and wiped out all the beautiful features. The Nameks are still trying to plant new trees and crops to restore the looks of the planet. Many animals lived on the planet. They ate many things but as for the Nameks, well they didnt eat! All they did was drink water. Well thats all for the appearance of Namek. Now on to what happened on the planet!
Frieza and his evil henchmen took a trip to Namek to find the 7 Dragonballs so that Frieza could wish for immortality. But Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, and Bulma werent gonna make it easy for them. They battled their way through Friezas forces to get the dragonballs. Shortly after the Ginyu Force defeated Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta, Goku arrived on the battle field with 100% health. He took out most of the ginyu force which led them to Frieza! The good guys made their wishes but after Frieza found out, he wasnt happy. He pretty much murdered all the Z fighters and the Nameks on the planet. That is until Goku showed up. Later in the battle with Goku and Frieza, Goku turned into a Super Saiyan after seeing Piccolo and his best friend Krillin die at the hands of Frieza. Frieza was soon defeated by Goku but the planet was about to blow because of the powers that Goku and Frieza put out. Luckly, Goku escaped the explosion. Later in the Dragonballz series, Z fighters and the Nameks wished for a new Namek and the wish was granted by the Earths Eternal Dragon Shenlong. The Nameks were transported to the new Namek and are now making it beautiful once again. The planet is again peaceful with no sense of danger in the air.
